One of the perks to only seeing babies every few months is noticing all the new skills they’ve learned since the last time I saw them. Baby David was a completely different little boy than he was at his three-month shoot. He had a pretty rough time with acid reflux for the first several months, but, thank goodness, that’s under control now. He’s up to a good weight and even has some fat rolls! And he’s such a happy boy now. He was sitting up like a champ for a six-month old, so we focused on all the cool, new things he can do. Look at this handsome boy.

Lucy Turns One

I can’t believe this sweet girl a year old already! This was my first shoot using my new lens. I love the lens when I get it right, but I definitely need more practice with it. The pictures aren’t perfect, but the baby in them is, especially covered in icing.
After almost every bite, she would put her hands on her belly, shake her head and say “Mmmmmm!” It was precious.

Lucy’s Six Month Photos

I did this shoot of Lucy back in June, but my memory card had a fatal accident that kept it at Lexar’s headquarters for six weeks to recover the images. I finally got them in the mail on Friday. So, even though Lucy is seven and a half months old now, here are some shots from her six-month photo shoot.
These photos are of Lucy and one of my favorite people, her great grandmother.

Sullivan Family Preview

After last week’s lost shoot of sweet Lucy, I transferred the Sullivan’s family photos to my computer as soon as the shoot was over. We had a family reunion today after the shoot, so I haven’t had the time to really start editing, but this is one of my favorites from just scanning through. This shows how sweet and happy these children are — even in 95-degree heat and 100 percent humidity!

One-Shot Lucy

On Thursday, I had a blast shooting Lucy’s six-month photos. She’s the happiest baby and laughed the whole time. Due to a faulty memory card, though, I lost every photo except this ONE. That’s right, out of 800+ pictures, this is all I have. Lexar claims they’ll be able to get the photos off of it (something four different cameras and three different computers couldn’t do. It even crashed one computer). I should have them in six to eight weeks. For your sake and the sake of my keyboard, I won’t say anything else other than I’m extremely frustrated with Lexar right now.
So, for the next six to eight weeks, imagine a beautiful, happy face on this sweet baby. Maybe she’ll have her six-month pictures before she’s eight months old.
